PRESIDENT’S REPORT
OAEOPP BOARD OF DIRECTORS

HIGHER
EDUCATION:
The
Ohio Board of Regents, Higher Education Information system staff have put
together a system where TRIO professionals can use basic data (similar to the
APR data) and obtain a report which will show all the State institutions in
Ohio where a particular student may have attended, their academic standing,
grade point average, enrollment status, etc.
We
will also be able to develop reports to show how many TRIO participants in Ohio
are enrolled or graduated from college, their majors, grade point average,
etc. Though there are some limitations,
the prospects are exciting for our programs.
You can learn more at http://www.regents.state.oh.us/hei/. Special thanks to Mr. Harold Horton!
Training
sessions were held at Kent State University, Ohio Board of Regents in Columbus,
and University of Cincinnati-Clermont during the month of October.
STUDENT
LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE:
The
Spring 2004 OAEOPP Student Leadership Conference will be held at Adam’s Mark,
50 N 3rd Street in Columbus April 23-25. Professional Leadership Conference will be
April 25-28, 2004.
